Responsibilities

• Wire sub-assemblies and components per specifications using tools such as wire strippers, crimpers and basic hand tools.
• Perform mechanical assembly including installation of electrical components and steel parts.
• Execute complex wiring tasks using schematics, diagrams, and BOM.
• Ensure all copper connections meet required specifications.
• Inspect completed work to verify electrical standards.
• Follow and maintain production schedules to meet assembly line demand.
• Collaborate with supervisors, team leads, and coworkers to identify and elevate production issues promptly.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment for self and others.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Cross train for other job functions as necessary.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement.

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a MVD - Interconnect Assembler - WKND Shift.

The hourly rate for this position is $21 per hour.

The shift hours are 7am - 7:30pm.

What you’ll do:

The MVD - Interconnect Assembler is responsible for performing complex and repetitive wiring, installation of electrical components, and this role ensures all assemblies meet electrical and mechanical specifications, performs quality checks, and prepares finished products for testing.

• Wire Sub-Assemblies and components according to specifications and standards using tools such as wire strippers, crimpers and basic hand tools
• Perform mechanical assembly including installation of electrical components and steel parts
• Execute complex wiring tasks using schematics, diagrams, and Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Ensure all copper connections meet required specifications
• Inspect completed work to verify electrical standards
• Follow and maintain production schedules to meet assembly line demand

• Promote and maintain a safe work environment for self and others

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in mechanical and wiring roles
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to use power and hand tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, internet, and related tools)

Position Criteria:

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds at waist, shoulder, and overhead levels; perform frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, and squatting; and regularly climb up and down ladders in support of material handling and tool use, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
