Job summary

Eaton in Greenwood, SC is seeking an Associate Product Line Application Engineer to support the Medium Voltage Switchgear Product Line in new product development, marketing, and sales activities. The role focuses on GIS product offerings, technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative solutions.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and several years of power systems design experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required.
Minimum four years of engineering experience in Power Systems Design or Electrical Distribution/Protection equipment is preferred.
Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate to engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering services to support new product development, marketing, and sales for MV switchgear.
Develop technical training materials and conduct trainings for internal teams and customers.
Coordinate with front-end engineering and operations to ensure on-time shipment of orders.
Provide technical guidance to DSE, field sales, and district AE teams for complex solutions.
Support preparation of quotations and documentation for product configurations.
