Job summary

ABB in Mebane, NC is seeking an Assembly Worker to support the production line onsite. You will assemble semi-finished and final products, read technical diagrams, and perform quality tests as part of everyday operations.

The role requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and comfortable use of hand tools on the shop floor. A high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year in manufacturing are preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to use a ladder when required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including packing integrated with production lines.
• Read and interpret the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly.
• Perform work manually or with light hand tools; operate shop floor machinery as needed.
• Carry out regular quality testing as part of the production process.
• Maintain clean work area and follow standard operating procedures.
