Job summary

ABB's Distribution Solutions Division is seeking a Master Scheduler for an onsite role in Mebane, NC. You will create and maintain detailed production schedules, release manufacturing work orders, and perform daily MRP to meet delivery dates.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience coordinating multiple production schedules for MV, LV, and LIS Switchgear a plus.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills with the ability to monitor performance metrics.
• Experience managing inventory levels and material availability.
• Ability to communicate with project managers regarding order status and delivery dates.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains a detailed production schedule from the production plan.
• Releases manufacturing work orders.
• Executes daily, plant-level MRP to create and manage production requirements to meet the production delivery schedules.
• Establishes sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipment dates per the master schedule/plan.
• Monitors schedule adherence, identifies root causes for deviation, and takes improvement actions.
• Feeds information on production capacity and material availability to Production Planners.
