Job summary

ABB is seeking a Master Schedule Planner to develop and maintain detailed production schedules, release work orders, and run daily MRP to meet delivery dates. The role is onsite in Mebane, NC, requiring at least 5 years of manufacturing experience and strong data analysis skills.

You will coordinate schedules for MV, LV, and LIS switchgear, monitor performance, and ensure timely delivery while collaborating with Production Planners and project managers. Physical requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to communicate with project managers regarding order status and delivery dates.
• Experience coordinating multiple production schedules for MV, LV, and LIS Switchgear is a plus.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills to monitor performance metrics.
• Experience managing inventory levels and material availability.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains a detailed production schedule from the production plan.
• Releases manufacturing work orders.
• Executes daily MRP to create and manage production requirements to meet schedules.
• Establishes sequence and lead times to meet shipment dates from the master schedule.
• Monitors schedule adherence and identifies root causes of deviations.
• Feeds capacity and material availability information to Production Planners.
