Centum Engineering is recruiting four experienced Cable Jointers to support electrical installations across data centre, pharmaceutical and heavy industrial projects. The role involves high‑voltage jointing up to 66kV, on‑site work, and a three‑weeks‑on/one‑week‑off rotation with travel across Europe.
You will carry out jointing, termination and testing while maintaining quality records and adhering to project safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Recognised cable jointing experience in relevant sectors.
- English proficiency to understand technical instructions on site.
- Ability to lead and mentor a jointing team.
- IT literacy to complete digital records and reports.
- Willingness to travel across Ireland, UK and Europe on a three‑weeks‑on/one‑week‑off rotation.
- Hold a valid EU passport and full driving licence.
- Have Manual Handling and Working at Heights training.
Responsabilités
- Carry out jointing and termination of XLPE cables and accessories per drawings and specs.
- Check cables, joints and termination components before work.
- Maintain cleanliness and working conditions for reliable joints.
- Read cable schedules and project docs.
- Perform or support testing, record results, escalate defects.
- Follow RAMS, permits to work and safety controls.
- Lead and coordinate a jointing team where needed.
