Job summary

JD Ross Energy is partnering with a leading German power cable manufacturer to recruit a High Voltage Cable Jointers (Monteur) for exciting installation and commissioning work on Europe’s largest HV projects.

You will install cables in Germany and internationally, assemble XLPE joints up to 500/550 kV, work with cutting-edge equipment, supervise on site, and progress to lead your own projects after training. Fluent German or English and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in an electrical or metalworking trade.
• Previous construction site experience.
• Jointer experience from 110KV and above.
• Sound understanding of electrical and construction site safety regulations.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Valid driving licence.
• Fluent in German or English.

Responsibilities

• Installation of high-voltage power cables in Germany and internationally.
• Assembly and installation of XLPE cable accessories (joints and terminations) up to 500/550 kV.
• Working with the latest installation methods and state-of-the-art equipment.
• Supervision and coordination of installation activities on site.

Following a recent investment of more than €100 million to support future growth, research, and development, the company has secured three major projects in Germany, providing a strong pipeline of work for the next 10 years.

As a result, they are now looking for a High Voltage Cable Jointers (Monteur) to join their growing team.

The Role

You will be involved in the installation and commissioning of some of Europe's most significant high-voltage cable infrastructure projects, working with cutting-edge technology and industry-leading equipment.
