Job summary

Caesars Entertainment is seeking a Mutuel Teller at Harrah's Pompano Beach to sell and cash tickets in the mutuel department and provide excellent guest service. You will balance money boxes, issue vouchers, and assist guests with bets and race results while upholding privacy and ethical standards.

Qualified candidates are 21+, fluent in English, comfortable with BAM devices, and able to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Proficient in English verbal and written.
• Proficient with BAM devices.
• Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a 1055 gaming license.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Some experience in cashiering or cash handling and counting is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell and cash tickets and keep money boxes balanced.
• Issue vouchers for self-service machines.
• Assist guests with race results, reading programs, and types of bets.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company policies.
• Ensure guests have a favorable gaming experience and high level of service.
• Handle routine customer complaints and resolve with supervisory input as needed.
• Work a flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
