First Hawaiian Bank is seeking an experienced Mutual Fund Account Administrator to join our team at the First Hawaiian Center. The role focuses on promptly addressing shareholder concerns while facilitating smooth operations between internal teams and external shareholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, related field, or equivalent work experience
• Two years of experience in mutual fund sales or servicing or one year with outreach to shareholders/financial advisors
• Experience in a customer-facing role with strong communication skills
• Knowledge of the investment industry
• Ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients
• Discretion handling confidential matters
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple accounts
• Familiarity with CRM systems and basic office software
• Maintains professional behavior and collaborates with internal/external teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications

Responsabilités

• Expand the distribution channels of mutual fund products and service existing shareholders
• Answer inquiries related to transactions, holdings, and fund information
• Serve as liaison between distribution reps and portfolio managers, compliance, and fund administrators
• Provide recommendations and implement strategies to grow the portfolio
• Address shareholder concerns promptly and facilitate smooth operational processes between internal teams and external shareholders
