A leading staffing agency is seeking a Paralegal/Legal Consultant for a client in the investment management sector. This role requires 3+ years of paralegal experience and involves supporting governance processes, preparing materials for board meetings, and maintaining corporate records. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940, along with excellent organizational and communication skills. This is a contract position offering a pay range of $50-$60 per hour.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of paralegal experience within an asset management, mutual fund, or law firm setting.
• Strong knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940 and mutual fund structures.
• Experience preparing materials for board meetings and maintaining fund governance records.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist attorneys and senior legal staff with all aspects of Investment Company Act of 1940 matters.
• Draft, proof, and coordinate materials for board of directors and committee meetings.
• Maintain and organize corporate records and fund documentation.
• Support preparation and review of registration statements and shareholder communications.
