Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a compassionate Music Therapist to empower students in school settings. You will conduct evaluations, develop interventions, and deliver music therapy aligned with IEPs, collaborating with ARD committees to enhance student access to education.

This role offers flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time, or as-needed) and benefits, plus opportunities for professional growth within a mission-driven team dedicated to student success.

Qualifications

• Active MT-BC certification from CBMT or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to determine the need for specialized therapy services.
• Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel with clear insights.
• Collaborate with ARD committee to create evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Plan and deliver music therapy services aligned with students’ IEPs.
• Collect data and maintain records to assess intervention effectiveness.
• Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other discussions to advocate for programs.
