Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a dedicated Music Therapist to empower students within a school setting. The role involves evaluating needs, developing targeted interventions, and delivering music therapy aligned with IEPs to improve student outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy, MT-BC certification, and CPR certification, with bilingual skills preferred. Flexible full-time or part-time arrangements are available, with comprehensive benefits and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Music Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active MT-BC certification through CBMT or equivalent (ACMT, CMT, or RMT).
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to determine the need for specialized therapy services.
• Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel.
• Collaborate with ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Plan and deliver music therapy services aligned with students’ IEPs.
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate records of student progress.
• Participate in ARD meetings and parent conferences.
