Job summary

St. Croix Hospice in Neenah, WI is seeking a licensed Music Therapist to join our compassionate care team. This full-time position requires delivering music therapy per individualized care plans, assessing patient responses, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance quality of life for patients and families.

You will provide interventions to relieve symptoms and support emotional, physical, and spiritual comfort, while documenting sessions and ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in music therapy from an accredited program.
• Board Certified Music Therapist (MT‑BC) or equivalent certification.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test.
• Provide music therapy per plan of care; assess patients and determine effectiveness.
• Implement interventions to relieve symptoms and support emotional, physical, and spiritual comfort.
• Educate team, maintain HIPAA compliance, and participate in interdisciplinary meetings and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited music therapy program with bachelor’s degree in music therapy.
• One of the following:
  • Board Certified Music Therapist (MT‑BT)
  • National Music Therapy Registry
  • American Music Therapy Association
  • Or another national organization that certifies, registers, or accredits Music Therapists.
• Ability to pass background, consumer report, and drug test.
• Provide music therapy per plan of care; assess patients and determine effectiveness.
• Implement interventions to relieve symptoms and support emotional, physical, and spiritual comfort.
• Use techniques such as relaxation, lyric analysis, songwriting, and life review; document sessions promptly.
• Educate team, maintain HIPAA compliance, and participate in interdisciplinary meetings and quality improvement.
