Simple Steps, LLC is seeking a Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) to provide music therapy services for veterans in the San Augustine, TX area. This is an employee position, part-time with potential to increase hours based on veteran needs.

The ideal candidate holds MT-BC certification and a Bachelor's degree or higher, with preferred experience in traumatic brain injury, veterans, and mental health conditions. Flexible schedule and supportive team environment offered.

Job Description

• Assisting clients with cognitive and physical limitations.
• Facilitating therapeutic music activities to foster client growth.
• Submit weekly documentation with session observations and client progress.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to foster communication and team unity.

Qualifications and Preferred Criteria

• MT-BC Certification
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with Traumatic Brain Injury
  • Experience working with veterans
  • Experience working with mental health conditions
  • Experience working with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

All individuals should have the following

• Resume
• CPR Certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association only)
• Social Security Card
• Driver's License
