Qualifications

• Hold a Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license as an Academic: Teacher, Music: Vocal/Instrumental/General, All Levels
• Knowledge of secondary music education methods, including choral pedagogy, general music, and basic music technology software
• Experience directing student bands and preparing for performances
• Ability to design engaging lessons aligned with the MA Frameworks for Music
• Positive classroom management skills, responsiveness to student diversity, and excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
