Chesterbrook Academy in Raleigh, NC seeks a Music and Performing Arts Teacher to develop and deliver a vibrant arts curriculum for PK-8 students, covering general music, vocal/instrumental instruction, drama and movement. You will organize performances and collaborate with teachers to integrate arts across the curriculum.

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Performing Arts, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Demonstrated experience teaching music and/or theater in a PK-5 school setting.
• Ability to direct musical ensembles, choirs, or theatrical productions.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for working with young learners.
• Ability to successfully pass a state and federal background check.

Responsabilidades

Music and Performing Arts Teachers at Chesterbrook Academy play a key role in enriching our students' academic journey by fostering a love of music and the performing arts. Working with students from Pre-K through 8th grade, you will create and implement a vibrant arts curriculum that includes vocal and instrumental music, movement, drama, and performance.
