Job summary

The Music Academy, located on-site with flexible scheduling, is seeking a caring instructor to teach piano, guitar, or voice. This part-time role offers a total weekly commitment of about 10–18 hours and pays $40.00–$47.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include private lessons and group classes both on-site and at local schools, plus ongoing professional development and supportive teaching. A reliable car and two‑year commitment are required.

Qualifications

• Strong musical skills and knowledge of music theory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Outgoing personality and passion for music instruction.
• Nurturing and supportive teaching approach.
• 8–10 years of teaching experience, including with kids and adults.
• Experience teaching groups.
• Must have a reliable car.
• Commit to teaching your current schedule for a minimum of two years.
• Positive attitude during instruction, encouraging students to address weaknesses and build on strengths.
• Availability to teach 2‑3 days a week, 3‑8pm, including Saturdays 9am‑2pm or Sundays 9am‑2pm.
