  • Job Summary:
    The music teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated instruction that is aligned to the curriculum and Illinois Learning Standards. The music teacher’s goal is to develop in each student an appreciation of music through activities that include signing, listening to music, moving to music, reading music, playing musical instruments, and performances. The music teacher establishes a positive learning environment and commitment to fostering a love of music in students. The music teacher maintains regular communication with parent(s)/guardian(s) with regard to their instructional program and student success. This position is at the fourth and fifth grade level and requires travel between two school sites on a daily basis.
