Duetti, a music royalties-focused company, is seeking a Royalty Data Specialist in the United States. You will own the critical workflow of turning raw royalty statements into reliable, structured data and work with Engineering, Research, Investment, Finance, and Product teams to improve the data engine powering pricing and underwriting decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with Python for data manipulation and automation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience handling large datasets and identifying anomalies.
• Ability to balance accuracy with speed in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication across technical and business teams.
• Curious mindset with a drive to continuously improve processes.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and process royalty statements from major distributors and DSPs.
• Investigate inconsistencies and data quality issues.
• Transform financial reports into standardized datasets used across the company.
• Build Python tools to automate repetitive workflows.
• Identify opportunities to improve processing speed, accuracy, and scalability.
• Collaborate with engineering to build internal tools for statement processing.
• Support pricing and underwriting decisions with processed data.
• Monitor operational metrics and suggest improvements.
• Help design workflows as Duetti scales.
