Job summary

Education Through Music, Inc. seeks a full-time Instructional Supervisor to manage a cohort of NYC music teachers across PreK-12 partner schools. You will ensure high-quality instruction, curricular programming, and professional standards in collaboration with school leadership.

The role requires on-site visits, PD plan design, feedback delivery, and coordination of performances, with strong emphasis on teacher development and program quality.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in music education and NYC travel within five boroughs.
• Experience in supervising music teachers is preferred.
• Strong communication and feedback skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Observe classroom instruction during on-site visits.
• Design professional development plans to strengthen teaching skills.
• Provide actionable feedback and document progress.
• Support classroom management and lesson planning.
• Assist with school partnerships and communications with leadership.
• Coordinate student performances and ETM events.
• Ensure ETM rooms are well-equipped and organized.
• Contribute to ETM knowledge base and training resources.
