Role Overview
Support a remote video annotation project by reviewing footage closely and producing precise, consistent labels for actions, timing, scene changes, pacing, and mood. This contract role draws on music, picture, and post-production editing instincts, especially the ability to identify exact moments and maintain frame-level accuracy.

- Label the tone or mood of each section and note where it changes.
- Apply annotation rules consistently across all clips and sessions.
- Review your own work, correct inaccurate boundaries, and flag unclear or borderline cases for project leads rather than guessing.
- Help resolve unclear cases and suggest improvements when guidelines have gaps or create repeated confusion.
- Complete assigned annotation volume on time and at the required quality standard.
Qualifications
- Experience in post-production or editorial work, including music editing, video editing, sound editing, or a related field, is preferred.
- Strong timing judgment and the ability to determine exactly when a moment begins and ends.
- Exceptional attention to detail, patience, and consistency during long sessions with similar material.
- Ability to follow written guidelines precisely and recognize when footage does not fit the rules.
- Clear written and verbal communication for collaboration with a remote team.
- Video annotation or data-labeling experience is helpful but not required. Prior AI experience is not required.
