Job summary

Glenbard East High School is looking for an Extra FTE Music Director Assistant (East) to oversee student clubs. The role will supervise elections, certify results, and ensure eligible candidates for club offices while coordinating with school leadership and APSS.

You will train officers, manage club communications, and coordinate with the Activities Director to maintain schedules, inventories, and compliance with district policies throughout the school year.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as correspondence, surveys and electronic media.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all elections and certify results.
• Approve club office candidates before elections.
• Train officers and members for club operations.
• Submit constitutions or charters when organized.
• Approve club announcements, meetings and materials.
• Attend meetings, social events and fundraisers.
• Maintain equipment and supplies inventory.
• Complete forms/reports per handbook.
• Consult with APSS for smooth club operation.
• Represent club at activities and events.
• Ensure representation at Presidents Council meetings.
• Follow district guidelines and policies.
• Coordinate with APSS to access Skyward accounts.
