Job summary

The National WWII Museum in New Orleans is seeking a full-time Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service in our museum stores. You will greet customers, ring up purchases, stock shelves, and keep merchandising neat and clean.

You’ll engage shoppers, answer questions, handle payments, and process returns while maintaining displays and ensuring accurate pricing. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Greet every customer that walks in the door and provide high level service.
• Minimum 2-year retail experience and ability to handle cash transactions.
• Communicate clearly with customers, supervisors and coworkers.
• Merchandise products, stock shelves, and maintain displays.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, ring up purchases, and process payments accurately.
• Stock shelves, price items, and keep checkout areas clean and organized.
• Assist with returns/exchanges and follow store policy.
• Engage customers to drive sales and answer questions about orders.
• Wrap gifts as requested and maintain attractive, compliant displays.
