Job summary

Fallingwater, a property entrusted to the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, is seeking a full-time Museum Store Floor Supervisor for the Fallingwater Museum Store. The position reports to the Director of Retail Operations and assists both the Director and the Assistant Manager in day-to-day operations of the Museum Store.

This is a full-time, seasonal opportunity with a comprehensive benefits package. The role requires flexibility with schedule, including evenings and weekends, and emphasizes

Qualifications

• Experience with Point-of-Sale systems and cash registers.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Team player with ability to work well with others.
• Working knowledge of computers, including MS Excel, MS Word, and POS software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the front-end operations of the Museum Store.
• Work with store staff to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Prepare daily item replenishment reports and anticipate inventory needs.
• Maintain proper stock levels and notify leadership when levels are low.
• Complete spot inventory reports and assist with year-end counts.
• Provide the highest level of customer service and conduct sales transactions.
• Participate in meetings with DOR and Assistant Manager.
