The position requires a high school diploma, 1–2 years of security experience (museum experience preferred), and the ability to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of security guard experience preferred, museum setting desirable.
• Must obtain/maintain First Aid, CPR and AED certification within 90 days.
• Pass criminal background check.
• Proficiency with safety and security equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the Museum and Store for irregularities and safety hazards.
• Prepare timely incident and daily activity reports.
• Control access points and assist guests and staff.
• Enforce Museum safety and security procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with authorities as needed.
• Operate CCTV and alarms; perform regular security checks.
