Job summary

The Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh is seeking a Housekeeping & Public Spaces Supervisor to ensure high standards of campus cleanliness. You will supervise in-house cleaners, coordinate with cleaning contractors, and implement quality control measures to guarantee a safe, welcoming environment for all guests.

The role requires at least two years of supervisory cleaning experience, a high school diploma, and a commitment to teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related experience; supervisory experience required.
• High School diploma required.
• Exempt/Salaried, full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Cleaning Associates and coordinate with contracted cleaners.
• Hire, train, coach, and schedule Cleaning Associates.
• Ensure compliance with the Collective Bargain Agreement and HR policies.
• Open/close buildings; manage inventory, supplies and equipment.
• Support events and facilities cleaning; perform light maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with Facilities team on safety and maintenance improvements.
