Job summary

High Desert Museum is seeking On-Call Event Staff to support internal and external events in Bend, Oregon. The role is hourly, part-time, non-exempt, paying $20.60 per hour plus tips, with responsibilities including setup, bar operations, serving beverages, cash handling, and adhering to health and safety rules.

You will work mainly evenings and weekends, require at least 21 years old with an OR Food Handlers Card and OLCC Servers Permit, and have strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 and valid OR Food Handlers Card and OLCC Servers Permit.
• Basic knowledge of drink preparation and beverage recipes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Reliable attendance and flexible evening/weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and tearing down events per Event Plan.
• Operate bar and process payments; take beverage orders.
• Greet guests and ensure service quality; uphold health and liquor laws.
• Address guest requests and resolve issues professionally.
• Ensure post-event teardown and cleanup.
