Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pneumatics and refrigeration
• Background in general building and equipment repair and maintenance
• Basic computer skills; able to follow work directions in a paperless environment
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Dependable with varying workload

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain building equipment to meet energy efficiency and peak performance goals
• Monitor BAS to maintain controlled environments for artifacts, staff and visitors
• Perform routine and major maintenance on equipment; minimize downtime
• Service HVAC systems, air compressors, hydronic heat and cooling systems
• Troubleshoot electrical controls and low voltage systems under licensed supervision
• Coordinate resources and schedule projects within budget and timelines
• Communicate effectively with team members and visitors
• Attend training and certification to stay current
