Job summary

The Frick Pittsburgh is seeking a Facilities Housekeeping Team Member to maintain a high standard of cleanliness across museum spaces, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for visitors and staff. The role is full-time, with 35 hours per week and weekend/evening requirements.

Hourly rate is $17.67/hour, with a full benefits package and union representation. Reports to the Housekeeping Manager and requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial field is preferred.
• Must be able to perform heavy cleaning and reach all areas.
• Schedule includes weekends and evenings; flexibility required.
• Clearance of a criminal background check required.
• Ability to interact professionally with staff and visitors.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Keep the following Frick spaces clean and presentable: Clayton, Haller House, Playhouse, Lexington, Car & Carriage Museum, Frick Art Museum, Orientation and Education Centers.
• Assist with event/set-up and take-downs, and with office moves as needed.
• Report changes in art objects or facility conditions to relevant departments.
• Respond to leaks, spills, or accidents to protect facilities and visitors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
