Job summary

Magnit Direct Source is seeking a part-time Museum Docent for a 12-month contract at the Toyota Experience Center in Plano, Texas. You will greet visitors, lead tours for VIPs and groups, answer questions, and assist staff. The role includes opening/closing duties and light exhibit operations.

Ideal candidates have strong verbal communication, enjoy speaking to diverse audiences, and can adapt to changing schedules. Automotive interest and language skills are a plus; remote work is not offered.

Job description

Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a Museum Docent for a temporary assignment in Plano, Texas. This is a 12-month contract. The pay range for this role is between $17.00 - $20.00/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

What We’re Looking For

A part-time docent to assist visitors and staff at the Experience Center

What You’ll Be Doing

• Welcoming visitors and making them feel welcome.
• Conducting tours to VIPs, special groups.
• Assisting visitors, answering questions.
• Helping staff, includes some cleaning
• Opening/closing procedures, turning exhibits on/off.

Qualifications/ What you bring (Must Haves) – Highlight Top 3-5 skills:

• Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
• Must be comfortable speaking to small and large groups of people.
• Must be personable, have a positive attitude, flexible to changing situations.
• Must be able to follow directions/processes
