Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring cooks for the Panorama at the Saint Louis Art Museum location in Saint Louis, MO. The role includes preparing food to standardized recipes, portion control, and maintaining HACCP standards in a busy food service operation.

Full- and part-time schedules are available; weekend availability is required. Training is offered for candidates with prior cooking experience. Compensation ranges from $18 to $24 per hour, depending on shift and experience.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience is preferred. Willing to train!

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and ensures food is at the correct temperature and attractive.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation, maintains high cleanliness standards and stores excess food per procedures.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed and assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
