Compass Group USA at SLAM Events (Saint Louis Art Museum) is seeking part-time event catering wait staff to assemble, deliver, set up and serve food and beverages at on-premise and off-premise functions.

We offer flexible hours, on-site training, free parking and an employee meal, with duties including setting tables, serving guests, and maintaining clean service areas. Prior experience is not required; willingness to train is preferred.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Must meet health requirements for food handlers.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to the scheduled locations.
• Arranges tables and decorations.
• Sets buffet tables with food, beverage and service items according to pre-established standards.
• Serves food and beverages to guests.
• Cleans and packs dishes and utensils.
• Returns un-served foods and beverages, serving equipment and utensils to the Commissary.
