Job summary

Delta Flight Museum, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Atlanta, seeks a Specialist for Audiovisual, Media, and exhibit technology. You will maintain and support AV, display, and exhibit systems, ensuring smooth operations for daily use and special events.

Responsibilities include testing, troubleshooting, and preparing equipment for events, coordinating with staff and outside providers, and providing coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Requires safety and security awareness for self and others.
• Must have at least 18 years of age and authorization to work in the United States.
• Minimum 3+ years supporting audiovisual, media, exhibit tech, or related systems.
• Experience troubleshooting AV, display, audio, media playback, and control systems.
• Experience supporting events, public venues, museums, or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the museum's audiovisual, media, exhibit, and event technology systems.
• Perform routine testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure exhibit tech and AV systems are operational and guest-ready.
• Provide tech support for museum events, rentals, and public programs.
• Prepare, operate, and reset AV equipment for events and daily operations.
• Coordinate tech requirements with staff, clients, vendors, and external AV providers.
• Troubleshoot projection, audio, media playback, display, control, and networking systems.
• Maintain equipment inventories, maintenance records, and technical docs.
• Escalate complex issues and assist with solutions.
• Support system upgrades, exhibit installations, and tech improvement projects.
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage as required.
