Job summary

The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum seeks an Accounting Operations Specialist to support daily accounting tasks, including AP/AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting. You will ensure compliance with standards, participate in closing processes, and help improve efficiency using ERP/automation tools.

Candidates should have an Associate’s in accounting (or related) with 1–3 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in accounting (preferred) or business with accounting exposure.
  • 1–3 years of accounting experience or related academic experience.
  • Experience with NetSuite and Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and vendor invoices with proper approvals.
  • Handle accounts receivable and apply incoming payments.
  • Perform daily and monthly revenue reconciliations.
  • Support month-end close and maintain internal controls.

Education

Associate’s degree in accounting / business
1–3 years of accounting experience
Strong written and verbal communication
Ability to manage multiple priorities
