The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum seeks an Accounting Operations Specialist to support daily accounting tasks, including AP/AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Candidates should have an Associate’s in accounting (or related) with 1–3 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work with vendors and internal teams.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this position supports the Museum's daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, periodic reconciliations, closing activities, and financial reporting. The Accounting Operations Specialist ensures the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, maintains compliance with accounting standards and internal controls, and contributes to a collaborative, team-oriented work environment while identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position that will work in-person at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, NY. Benefits associated with this position include health insurance, dental insurance, retirement, flexible spending account, employee assistance program, and paid time off (vacation, sick, holidays). The salary range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hour.
