Job summary

Marquette University invites applications for the Academic Engagement Associate at the Haggerty Museum of Art. The role facilitates programs and dialogue across disciplines, tailoring sessions with faculty to leverage the museum’s collections.

You will collaborate with teaching centers and departments to develop curricula, design in-gallery resources, and promote public programs while coordinating with campus partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Art History or Museum/Curatorial Studies; or similar.
• At least three years of directly related experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with Marquette University faculty and center directors; communicate with faculty through meetings and newsletters.
• Collaborate with faculty to lead and coordinate tours and design class sessions at the Haggerty Museum of Art.
• Develop curricula, syllabi, and learning resources integrating the museum’s collections with courses.
• Partner with teaching centers and programs on faculty and leadership development and events.
• Develop customized tours and co-curricular offerings with various university groups.
• Plan and promote academically oriented public programs such as symposia, panels, and lectures.
• Implement outcome-based evaluation for museum academic initiatives.
