Job summary

Meritus Health’s Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform musculoskeletal radiographs in a fast-paced, outpatient setting. You’ll collaborate with orthopedic providers to deliver high-quality imaging that supports timely, accurate care.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT registration, Maryland licensure, and BLS CPR. One year of radiography experience is preferred; hours are 8am-4:30pm with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required.
• One year of experience as a radiographer preferred.
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
• Licensure by the State of Maryland as a Radiologic Technologist required.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification in compliance with Meritus Health policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Operate and maintain digital radiography equipment with competence and care.
• Prepare exam rooms, organize supplies, and clean radiographic areas to ensure readiness and safety.
• Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures clearly, and assist other staff members as needed.
• Obtain and document clinical information from patients accurately.
• Observe patients and equipment during procedures, reporting any unusual occurrences immediately.
• Record pertinent patient information in QA logs, electronic systems, and reports.
• Serve as a resource to other staff, offering guidance and support as needed.
• Assist with outpatient medical assisting duties (e.g., vitals, medical history documentation) when appropriate and after demonstrated competency.
