Evaluating and managing inpatients on the Neurological Surgery Service. The successful applicant will be an Advanced Practice Provider interested in working full-time in the care of patients on the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit. The APP will join a busy Neuroscience ICU Division that includes 5 Neuro-intensivists and 9 Advanced Practice Providers, with plans for further expansion.

Work Shift: 14 shifts/month, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with 13-hour shifts

Patient Age Range: 13 years to death
Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited school and two years of clinical experience, including at least one year in a specialty area of care. Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or licensure as an APRN is required. Must hold or be eligible for licensure in South Carolina. Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
At least 1 year of Neurosurgical care as a NP/PA-C. For APRNs, experience in adult gerontology acute care is preferred.
Requires licensure, certifications, and ongoing education to maintain professional standards. The position offers full-time, salaried employment with variable hours based on scheduled shifts. The role involves direct patient care in a high-acuity ICU setting.
