Job summary

Luxoft in Seattle is seeking an experienced Production Support Engineer specialized in Murex environments to join our top-tier alliance. You will maintain production health, monitor telemetry, and coordinate incident response across the bank's technology landscape.

You will apply strong scripting, Unix, SQL, and MXTest knowledge, and work with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab and Azure DevOps. Excellent communication, leadership, and the ability to train team members are essential.

Qualifications

  • MXTest knowledge is a plus.

  • Have and provide a production overview across the banko Be the central point of contact to provide an overview of the production health for technologyo Proactively monitor the environment at a top level for abnormalities using telemetry and perform more focused investigations when necessaryo Correlate cross-stream issues/events
  • Run and support incident managemento Actively manage all SEV 1 to 3 Major Incidentso Overview of all SEV 4s, their current state and related escalationso Trends and abnormal volumes of SEV 5s and unstructured requestso Manage SEV 4 incidents when they have the potential to
  • Control and ensure the quality of incident communicationso Have an overview of all incident notifications releasedo Be accountable for the content of all major incident notificationso Provide quality content for cross-stream major incident notificationso Be accountable for the quality and hygiene of all stream incident notifications
  • Run and support Mission Control Command & Control activitieso Be aware of the change portfolio / activities and communicate these effectivelyo Understand the effect of significant client environment events, financial events and market news
  • Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with functional counterparts of the other Technology ServicesDegree in Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology Engineering (or related discipline)Preferred - At least 2 years of experience in a CI/CD environment
  • Proficiency in CI tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps and others.
  • Strong understanding of version control systems such as GIT.
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, etc)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

SKILLS
Must have
  • - Strong working knowledge of Murex Configuration and Environment management- Strong knowledge of scheduler software (e.g. Tidal, Autosys, JAMS, ...etc.)- Good understanding of MXTest- Good product knowledge/understanding in IRD, CRD, EQD, FXD- Good understanding of Workflows, Operations, Fixings process, Confirmations, and Trade Life Cycle- Strong functional and technical understanding of Murex- Good knowledge of the different post-trade interactions between the various actors of capital markets including service providersMust:- previous experience, min 2yrs, with Murex Environment management- MXTest Module (a plus)- Must have strong personality, logical and analytical skills- Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner and self-starter- Possess good verbal and written communication skills- Must have strong organization skills- Good SQL, Unix , Scripting , Sybase and Oracle skills
