Job summary
Cypress Lake Solutions, LLC is seeking a Plans and Procedures Specialist | Munitions Demilitarization to plan, write, edit, and coordinate safety-critical technical documents for demilitarization programs at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
You will conduct SME interviews, support government reviews via the Document Review System, and translate expert input into clear, actionable procedures for hazardous operations, with travel to Army depots as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or equivalent in a technical field or related discipline.
- 5–10+ years in technical writing, procedure development, or related fields.
- Experience authoring/editing complex technical documents (SOPs, work instructions, test plans).
- Ability to translate SME input into clear, safe, step-by-step instructions.
Responsibilities
- Plan, author, edit, and coordinate safety-critical documents for demilitarization programs.
- Route documents for government review and manage approvals via DRS.
- Conduct SME interviews, draft procedures, and reflect approved changes.
