Job summary

Chapel On the Hill is seeking a team-oriented individual to perform regular trash and waste collection from residential properties and small businesses. The role includes operating a refuse truck, assisting with vehicle maintenance, and responding to customer inquiries in a courteous, safety-focused manner.

The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), at least one year of related experience, and a valid North Carolina driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Valid NC driver's license and ability to provide transportation between job sites.

Responsibilities

• Collect trash, yard waste, bulky items, and deceased animals from residential properties and small businesses.
• Operate and assist with refuse truck; maintain safety and cleanliness of work areas.
• Assist with vehicle maintenance and pre/post trip inspections.
• Interact with customers to address complaints or questions; report issues to driver/supervisor.
• Assist with events, storms, and debris removal as needed.
