Job summary

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor or ABA-accredited law degree required.
• Admission to the Colorado Bar in good standing on hire.
• Non-admitted applicants may be considered if eligible per policies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as criminal trial attorney in municipal prosecution.
• Engage in plea negotiations and sentencing hearings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and research legal issues for trials and appeals.
• Represent the City in civil actions in municipal court when needed.
• Coordinate with police, code enforcement, and other City departments.
