Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly experienced Municipal Lead to oversee municipal engineering projects, from planning through maintenance, with a strong emphasis on leadership and delivery. The role requires a robust civil engineering background and proven project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in municipal engineering, with at least 2 years in project management.
• Proficiency in Civil3D and AutoCAD software.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Strong knowledge of municipal engineering principles, practices, and methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers and technicians in the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of municipal engineering projects.
• Utilize Civil3D and AutoCAD software to design and review engineering plans and drawings.
• Coordinate with other departments, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Oversee the preparation of engineering reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Ensure all engineering work complies with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of municipal engineering services.
• Participate in meeting with clients to discuss project plans and address any concerns.
