Job summary

Jobot, a respected Midwest engineering firm, seeks an experienced Municipal Engineer to lead technical work, mentor staff, and drive Illinois expansion. You will supervise roadway, utility, stormwater, and site development projects while engaging public-sector clients.

The role offers hybrid work flexibility (up to one day in office per week or full remote depending on location), a competitive compensation package, and clear career advancement. PE license preferred or reciprocity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain through reciprocity.
• 10–15+ years of municipal, civil, transportation, or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience managing municipal utility, roadway, drainage, and site development projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership as a mentor and lead project teams.
• Oversee delivery of municipal, transportation, and infrastructure projects across Illinois.
• Develop and expand the office and team growth with strong client relationships.
