Job summary

Quiddity is seeking an experienced Municipal Project Engineer to lead design efforts for municipal infrastructure and utility projects in North Texas. This role requires a Texas-licensed Professional Engineer (or soon to be) and a proactive leader who collaborates closely with city and county clients to deliver high-quality, cost-effective projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• 5+ years of design engineering experience on municipal/infrastructure projects.
• Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license or pursuing licensure.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D; knowledge of MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply standard engineering methods to moderately complex engineering and construction assignments.
• Manage planning and design of municipal infrastructure projects for public and private clients.
• Lead and coordinate multiple project teams across concurrent assignments.
• Participate in design meetings and maintain communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct field activities such as site inspections and project reviews with clients.
• Oversee scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables; assist in proposals and contract negotiations.
• Support senior leadership to grow client relationships in the region.
