Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an Associate Attorney in Missouri to join a municipal law-focused practice. The candidate will support senior attorneys, draft legal documents, and conduct research while advising on complex issues. Evening attendance at government meetings is expected as part of this role.

Qualified candidates will hold a Juris Doctorate, possess Missouri licensure (Kansas licensure a plus), and demonstrate strong communication and travel willingness for local matters.

Qualifications

• Understanding of state and local government law, land use law, and administrative law.
• Familiarity with Robert's Rules of Order and Missouri Sunshine Law.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply statutes, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Attorneys with municipal law matters.
• Draft legal documents and conduct legal research.
• Provide legal advice on complex issues.
• Attend government meetings, often in the evenings.
