A law firm seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney to provide legal counsel and representation in matters related to local government, regulatory compliance, and administrative litigation. Duties

- Provide legal advice and guidance on matters related to public utilities, emergency services, and government administration.
- Attend client meetings, including those held in the evenings as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and legal solutions.
- Monitor legislative developments and provide lobbying support as needed.
Requirements
- 1-7 years of experience as a practicing attorney (preferred).
- Strong legal research and document drafting abilities.
- Ability to handle administrative litigation and regulatory matters.
- Willingness to attend evening client meetings when necessary.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Active and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and legal research tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Experience in administrative and local government law (preferred, but not required).
