City of Marysville is hiring for a field-based maintenance position in the municipal facilities and utilities sector. The role includes entry-level maintenance duties and routine activity across City properties and right-of-way areas, under supervision.

You will assist with grounds care, landscaping, and equipment operation in a dynamic environment. The job involves lifting up to 25–50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance, typical outdoor work in varying weather, and potential

Competenze

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to obtain a Washington State Driver’s License within one month of hire.
First aid and CPR certifications required within six months of hire.
Flagger certification required within six months of hire.

Mansioni

Assists with general maintenance, installation, inspection, repair, and servicing of municipal utilities, facilities or equipment.
Assists with grounds and right-of-way maintenance: weeding, mowing, landscaping, litter control, graffiti abatement.
Operates weed eaters, hedge trimmers, mowers and backpack blowers as directed.
Assists with traffic control including flagging and work zone setup for crew protection.
May rotate to other divisions during peak workload or emergencies.
Receives guidance and feedback from supervisors.
