ATS+Partners is seeking a Municipal ERP &Financial Systems Integration Engineer to serve as the core integrationspecialist on the City of Brockton’s AI Automation and Generative DocumentIntelligence initiative. This contractor is the critical link between the AIextraction pipeline and the City’s live financial systems, and must be able todemonstrate directly that the engagement team satisfies the RFP’s MinimumEvaluation Criterion 3 (three or more years of experience integratingautomation solutions with core financial, HR, or utility systems) andComparative Criterion B (experience automating invoice processing workflows).

The contractor will take ownership of allintegration touchpoints between the ATS+Partners GDI platform and the City’sTyler Munis ERP, fleet registry, HR enrollment system, and ancillary financialapplications. They will design the data schemas, validate integrationendpoints, develop API connectors, and ensure that every automated output —invoice validations, insurance coverage records, audit work papers — landscleanly in the correct downstream system with full audit trail preservation.This role is hands‑on and delivery‑oriented.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead all Tyler Munis ERP integration design,development, and testing across invoice processing, vehicle insurance, andaudit preparation workflows.
  • Build and maintain REST API connectors between theATS+Partners GDI platform and Tyler Munis modules: Accounts Payable, GeneralLedger, Purchasing, and Contracts.
  • Design and implement three‑way PO matching logic —validating extracted invoice data against purchase orders and goods receiptswithin Tyler Munis before any payment routing.
  • Develop automated GL account suggestion logic usinghistorical invoice‑to‑GL mapping, reducing manual coding burden on Financestaff.
  • Integrate fleet registry data feeds to support vehiclecoverage validation in the insurance reconciliation workflow, includingVIN-level coverage matrix management.
  • Connect HR enrollment system APIs to support healthinsurance reconciliation, enabling automated comparison of carrier billingrecords against active employee enrollment data.
  • Configure structured JSON/XML output schemas for allfour workflows, ensuring data hand‑offs are clean, validated, and auditable bythe City’s finance department.
  • Participate in Phase 1 systems inventory: document allTyler Munis modules in use, API availability, authentication methods, dataschemas, and integration constraints.
  • Build and maintain integration test suites; conduct UATwith City Finance staff; resolve data mapping discrepancies beforego‑live sign‑off.
  • Produce integration architecture documentation, datadictionaries, field mapping guides, and operations runbooks for City IT staff.
  • Provide ongoing integration support,including quarterly review of data accuracy, performance tuning, and supportfor additional automation scope.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Tyler Munis ERP:3+ years hands‑on configuration and integration (modules: AP, GL, Purchasing,Contracts)
  • SQL and relationaldatabases: proficiency in querying and managing financial data in SQL Server,PostgreSQL, or Oracle
  • Municipal or stategovernment financial systems experience: 3+ years working within a governmentfinance technology environment
  • JSON and XML:strong working knowledge of structured data formats used in financial systemintegration
  • REST APIdevelopment: 3+ years building and consuming APIs for financial systemintegration
  • Azure cloud:familiarity with Azure-hosted integration services, Azure Service Bus, orLogic Apps
  • Invoice processingautomation: documented experience designing or implementing automated APworkflows with PO matching
  • Understanding ofmunicipal procurement law: familiarity with MGL c.30B, UMAS accountingstandards, or equivalent
  • Data mapping andETL: experience translating unstructured/semi-structured source data intovalidated ERP-ready output
  • Communication:ability to translate technical integration requirements into plain-languagedocumentation for non-technical Finance staff
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Tyler Muniscertification or Tyler Technologies partner experience
  • HR systemintegration experience (Workday, PeopleSoft, Munis HR module) forbenefits/enrollment data
  • Experienceintegrating Tyler munis with AI or automation platforms (RPA, IDP, orworkflow tools)
  • Prevailing wagevalidation logic for public‑sector AP workflows (MGL c.149)
  • Familiarity withMassachusetts UMAS (Uniform Massachusetts Accounting System) chart ofaccounts
  • Experience withaudit preparation workflows, trial balance extraction, and financialreporting automation
  • Prior engagementwith a Massachusetts city, town, or state agency as a technology contractor
