Benesch is seeking a Municipal Engineering Intern to join our teams in Atlanta or Augusta, GA. You will work on municipal projects, contributing to design tasks, field inspections, and related engineering activities this summer.

Candidates should be pursuing a bachelor’s or master's in Civil, Construction, or Environmental Engineering, exhibit strong communication and organizational skills, and be capable of lifting 25 lbs and traveling to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil, Construction, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication, plus analytical/problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage assignments efficiently and stay organized.
• Willingness to lift up to 25 lbs and work in varying conditions; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist on municipal engineering projects, including design work and field inspections.
• Support project teams in the office and at project sites on scope and deliverables.
